Ronen Engel

Ronen Engel, son of Sara and Baruch, was born on 11 July 1971, 18 Tammuz 5731. The Ministry of Defense record on the Izkor website lists Gedera as his birthplace and identifies his service branch as the Intelligence Corps.

Ronen was married to Orly and was the father of three sons: Harel, Itay Baruch and Evyatar. He was a brother to Tzipi and Hagai. The Israel Intelligence Commemoration Center commemorates him on a personal page that names his wife, sons, mother Sara and siblings among the family members he left behind.

Ronen died during his service on 3 January 2025, 3 Tevet 5785, at the age of fifty-three. His resting place is in Gedera, in section 2, row 1, grave 2. May his memory be a blessing.
