The story
Adi Milo was born in Karmei Yosef on 14 August 2003, the son of Tal and Yuval and the brother of Ofri, Rotem, Zohar, and Noa. His parents described a child with a rich imagination, a sense of humor, and a love of people and books. The open spaces around his home were part of his life: he loved walking barefoot through them with his dog and being close to nature. Alongside these interests, he trained steadily in taekwondo and became runner-up in the Israeli championship. He hiked across the country with a hiking youth group and later led a group of children.
Music accompanied Adi from an early age. He played the piano, was accepted into Thelma Yellin High School, and was a pianist in its jazz program. He wrote, composed, and arranged music for himself, with friends, and for others who asked for his help. His parents remembered the passion with which he approached the keyboard and the humility with which he continued creating. Even during military training, he found time to write songs, giving expression to his experiences, feelings, and expectations.
Before enlisting, he spent a year volunteering with Hashomer Hachadash in Kmehin in the Negev, where he worked in agriculture and helped guard against theft. In early 2023, he enlisted in the Nahal Brigade's 50th Battalion and trained as a combat soldier. He later fought in the Gaza Strip. A comrade spoke of the trust that developed between them and his willingness to reach the wounded even under fire. During his service, he attained the rank of sergeant. Following the difficult events he experienced in combat, he was discharged from service and returned home to his family.
Adi died on 15 December 2024, aged twenty-one, and was laid to rest in the cemetery in Karmei Yosef. He left behind his parents and four siblings. His songs are preserved on the website established in his memory, and a piano was placed in his honor at the Trail Angels site near Harduf, where visitors can play it. In this way, hikers and others who come to the site can encounter the music that was such a central part of his life. May his memory be a blessing.

בלטת בפשטות שלך, בצניעותך, באהבת האדם באשר הוא אדם, בקריאת ספרים ובחוש הומור טבעי.
Adi fought the way he did everything, with all his heart, the first to reach the wounded and treat them, even under fire.
